Puma x Rhuigi
PUMA and Rhuigi introduce part three of their collaboration inspired by 1970s New York hip-hop and b-boying. The Rhuigi x PUMA Suede B-Boy dons a pink suede construction all throughout the upper with contrasting cream accents.
The coast-to-coast collaboration links Rhuigi’s home of Los Angeles with the cultural melting pot of New York City. Streetwear designer Rhuigi has a love for rap, and through that lens he explores the heady early days of hip-hop in the 1970s in collaboration with PUMA. PUMA x RHUIGI also showcases how PUMA helped shape the style that would sweep across the globe from NYC.

Rhuigi Villaseñor is the founder of clothing label RHUDE, a brand that melds American iconography with nostalgic cultural references, culminating in a unique commentary on the city of Los Angeles. Villaseñor has made a name for his reinterpreted classics that draw from Americana, music, and street style.
This version of the Suede pays tribute to this legendary era, with a classic suede upper and Rhuigi’s renowned aesthetic. The model still features the thick laces and is made of eco-friendly pink suede. PUMA branding on the side completes the look with gold details. Instead of the traditional branding, the numbers ’19’ and ’91’ appear on the back of the shoe.
